WELCOME BACK

Teresa and Esther were in grade 3 when I came to Santa Olaya School as the new English teacher. They are finishing Bachillerato now.
Today they came to visit us. Thea, a Norwegean  exchange student who is living with them, accompanied them. They gave a speech in English about theirselves to my dear 10 years (lovely American accent they got!).
They had a great experience last year as they spent the whole year in the States.
Teresa was in Minnesota and Esther in North Carolina.
 They went to American High Schools and lived with a family.
 In this picture you can see Teresa´s High School jacket, the one we have seen so many times in the movies.

Even at Christmas they were ready to get their presents in their personalized stocking.
Can you remember what was Teresa´s present?

 More American stuff: Teresa´s Yearbook, a book high schools publish annually to record their past year at school.

 Esther showed us her graduation photos and they even brought their graduation hat.
Teresa´s was red and Teresa´s purple (it depends on the school colours).

As their English teacher, I must say it was such a pleasure hearing them speaking so well. And my students too!
